Congratulations to Mary O'Neill Newtownmountkennedy Guild
who was one of 5 ICA semi finalists
in the Aldi Brown Bread competition.
Mary made her brown bread in the semi final
at the Ploughing Championships in Tullamore on 15th September
and won a place in the final.
Mary was interviewed by Sile Seoige and
baked again with the other finalists on 17th September,
in th Aldi Tent at the Ploughing and came 4th.
Well done Mary...a magnificent achievement. You did Wicklow proud.
GUILD OF THE YEAR

Tables can be set up from 5pm Judging will start at 6pm
The federation meeting will start at 7.30pm
Entertainment section will be at the conclusion of the federation meeting.
Marks out of 100 for each section.
Display Table: to be dressed in 1960s style to include a flower arrangement
Crochet Hat, Tye Dye T Shirt and Cake to be displayed on the display table.
Crafts : A Flower Power Crochet Hat
Arts : A Tye Dyed TShirt (adult size)
Produce: A cake with a 60s theme not to exceed 12”
(cake must be within a 12” board…cake will be cut and tasted)
Entertainment: Entertainment with a 60s theme approx 5 minutes
( could be dancing, singing, sketch, variety…the choice is yours)
Written Work: “Memories of the 1960s” approx 500 words
Must be typed. No extra marks for presentation.

came 4th in the National Pitch & Putt Competition just 2 points behind 3rd.

Congratulations to Susanna Braswell Wicklow Town Guild
who won the Inter Federation Cup for Art (for a 2nd year in a row)
as the overall winner of the photography competition.
Susanna won the colour section and was 3rd in the black& white section.
Congratulations to Mary Finlay Wicklow Town Guild
who was the winner of the Black & White section.
As Susanna and Mary were unable to attend the AGM,
their prizes were recieved by Wicklow Town President Betty Teahan.
