which, in the past has brought out the best of talent in the county.
The competition is open to all paid-up members of ICA.
The judge's decision is final.

Part 1 100 marks Your County. Your Call
This project involves marketing and selling an idea to promote
your county eg a tourist attraction, a beauty spot,
a product made in your county,
or a booklet illustrating the good points in your area.
A. Write an account of your research on how you came up with the idea. Max 500 words minimum 250 words
B. Create an advertisement to promote your idea in A4 size paper.
Points given:
Originality of idea
The written research and design of your advertisement.
Part 2 100 marks
Create and write out a menu (to be displayed on the night) for a 3 course meal for a family of 2 adults and 2 children costing €20
All food must be Irish, receipts and labels must be shown.
Starter course to be displayed on the night of the competition
and will be tasted.
Points given:
Nutritional value of the meal
Presentation and taste of starter
Balance of courses on menu
Part 3 100 marks
Item suitable for the home made from recycled materials. (Any medium)
Points given:
Ingenuity and attractiveness
Part 4 100 Marks
One or more persons to entertain in the style of Old Irish entertainment.
Maximum time 10 minutes.
This can be dance,song,music or storytelling(sean-nós style) etc. etc.
Points given:
Irish authenticity
Entertainment value
